Child of the Week - Hillary

Meet Hillary – WH403
Birthday – February 2
At 19 years old, Hillary is one of our older students, but he is very dedicated to finishing school.  Hillary will be advancing to Form 4 at Waddington High School in January.  He lives with his parents and sister in the Kayole-Soweto slums of Nairobi.  His father is unemployed and his mother is a peasant farmer.  He does well in Biology and hopes to be a pharmacist one day.  Hillary enjoys playing football in his free time.

As a rising Form 4 student Hillary only needs a sponsor for one more year to give him the support he needs to finish his secondary education.  Will you be his friend and sponsor through this-all important final year?

You can sponsor Hillary on the Basic Program for only $12.50 a month or the lunch-Included Program for only $20 a month.  Both sponsorship programs cover a portion of the student’s school fees and a $3/month contribution toward the cost of the student’s KCSE Exam.  Children write to their sponsors at least three times per year (once per term).

For more information, please visit www.plantabook.org or email info@plantabook.org.

Please make a difference in the life of a child today!
